Lainate, January 2010 – Carlo Gavazzi Automation - the international electronics Group with activities in the design, manufacturing and marketing of electronic equipment – , presents the B002 version of DPC72: this digital multifunction monitoring relay is certified according to the German VDE0126-1-1 regulation and suitable for power generators connected to the public grid.
DPC72 – including display, communication port and data logger in a very compact size (4 DIN modules) – is able to monitor both voltage and frequency, in addition to phase loss and sequence control. 50ms reaction time can be provided for an immediate disconnection of the power generator from the grid, in case of fault. Moreover, tamper-proof features guard against undesired modification of the programmed parameters.

Developed by Carlo Gavazzi Controls unit in Belluno (Italy), the new DPC72 shows voltages and frequency values on its display, allows data stamping of the last 10 events and the remote reading of all information via serial communication, such as RS485 port. It grants the maximum flexibility and simplifies the programming procedure, thanks to the LCD display, the front joystick and the front selector.
