CD46 capacitive proximity level sensor offers a narrow profile
Carlo Gavazzis CD46 capacitive proximity level sensor offers a narrow 5mm wide design and is used for reliable non-contact detection of any object, detecting both metallic and non-metallic objects. Designed for front, pipe or surface mounting and provides the highest protection against dirt accumulation and accidental touch.
The CD46 offers an adjustable sensing distance of 1 - 10 mm. The low profile design of this sensor ensures protection against mechanical damage ensuring reliable detection and consistent production flow.
The switching points can be altered by means of the Teach-in function. 3-wire DC output with selectable make (NO) or break (NC) switching and NPN Alarm and comes in a grey/black polyester housing with 2 m PVC cable. The IP68 rating provides confidence that it is fully prepared for both harsh and wet environments as it is fit enough to withstand dust, dirt, and sand, and is resistant to submersion in water.
