Vigilance is urged after repeat solar farm thefts

Posted in Carlo Gavazzi Controls by Alison on August 28th 2015

The number of solar panels stolen in the Lincolnshire area is now in excess of 500 since March 2015.  Whilst keeping gates locked and adding CCTV may well be a deterrent installing Carlo Gavazzi’s VMU-AT anti-theft system may well prove to be a more responsive option.

Each distributed anti-theft module can monitor panels spanning up to 200m in length.  Once the alarm has been triggered a sms message or email can be sent immediately to the designated recipients.
