Monitoring Relays
Carlo Gavazzi monitoring relays are used in a wide range of applications for protecting motors (elevators, compressors, pumps, air conditioning systems). They are also used for monitoring instrumentation signals, detecting broken heater elements and monitoring of lights in building automation systems.
Monitoring relays are for example; a solution to offer full protection to pumps or to simply monitor overloads. They can detect the correct phase sequence and phase loss along with the voltage regenerated by the pump motor: this means that maintenance can be easily and promptly requested before system failure occurs.
